Family and friends joined HSTA members on Oahu to march in the 2015 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade from Magic Island to Kapiolani Park.
Throughout the history of HSTA, teachers have gathered together to promote and support human and civil rights and to nurture diversity in our multifaceted community.
Thank you to McDonalds of Waikele, Kamehameha Bakery, and Starbucks of Waikiki for supporting the YHCR and the teachers that participated in the Oahu parade.

The Oahu parade begins at Ala Moana Beach Park and ends at Kapiolani Park
7:00 a.m. - (Optional) Meet at Kapiolani Park on Monsarrat to ride a bus to Ala Moana Beach Park
7:30 a.m. - Start gathering at Ala Moana Beach Park
9:00 a.m. - Parade begins at Ala Moana Beach Park

*If parking at Kapiolani Park, meet by 7:30 am. The trolley will leave from there to Ala Moana Park/Magic Island.
*If parking at Ala Moana Park/Magic Island, the trolley will return to Ala Moana at the end of the parade.
