FREE! PD Opportunity in HILO October 24: Economics for the Classroom

Aloha Educational Professionals & Friends and Supporters of K-12 Education, 

On behalf of the Hawaii Council on Economic Education (“HCEE”) and we would like to invite your educators to our upcoming educator workshop “Advocating and Learning About Economics for Your Classroom” that will be held at the University of Hawaii at Hilo’s Innovation Center 2nd Floor on Saturday, October 24 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  

With generous support from local organizations who support Economic and Financial Literacy Education in Hawaii including the County of Hawaii Department of Research & Development,  HPM Building Supply, CU Hawaii Federal Credit Union, the Hawaii State Teachers Association, and the aio Group, this workshop is FREE for all educators!

-Includes curriculum (k-12) that you can use in the classroom and valued at more than $40.00!

-All educators will be eligible for a $100 stipend after completion of the workshop and successful implementation of a workshop advocacy plan.  Additional details given at workshop. 

This 8-hour workshop includes K-12 Curriculum that educators can use right away in the classroom, workshop materials, coffee, light snacks, and lunch!
