Hawaii Jaycees: Adopt a School

Community Appreciation for Teachers

Mahalo teachers for the important role you play in helping to ensure student success. We are proud of and grateful for the hard work of all educators.

Have you ever wished for additional classroom supplies, extra assistance, or, to get something fixed in your classroom or at your school?

The Hawaii Jaycees want to assist you in finding a sponsor or volunteer organization that will suit you and your school’s needs.

The Hawaii Jaycees Adopt-A-School (AASD) is a statewide project that has inspired hundreds of individuals, groups, businesses, and non-profit organizations to conduct unique service projects for Hawaii schools.

Some of the past projects have been focused in three areas:

1.) Beautification of a school campus by painting parking lots or starting up a garden.

2.) Assisting in the classroom by helping to cut or fold things.

3.) Donating supplies for classrooms and buildings such as crayons or LED lightbulbs.

Please go to the link to below to describe needs in your classroom or school.
