Teacher Institute 2015 is just around the corner.  Teacher Institute is YOUR day.  This special day offers something for everyone from workshops to inspirational speakers, mini PD courses, and more.  Please watch for specific details and agendas for each island Institute.

All Institute Days will have breakout sessions with a variety of offerings, including Mini PD workshops.  The Mini PD sessions will introduce you to the Professional Development course and provide a sample of what the actual 3-day course entails.  In most courses, you will learn strategies to integrate the topic and lessons into curriculum and other disciplines.  These may include how to differentiate instruction as well as utilize multiple intelligences to create meaningful lessons and units.  These Mini PD sessions do not result in reclassification credits. However, attendance at Institute Mini PD sessions may be used as part of your evidence for core professionalism as we as part of your evidence for meeting your professional development goals.  (Note:  Each individual is responsible for the evidence reported on PDE3.)

Welcome Lily Eskelsen-Garcia!

National Education Association President Lily Eskelsen Garcia tops the agenda at some Institute locations this year.  She is an inspiration and a true advocate for teachers and public education.  We are very fortunate to have her.  Read more about Lily HERE>>>
