VIDEO:  See why teachers are voting for David Ige

With less than one month to go, it is clear that whichever side gets out the vote will win.

See why teachers are voting for David Ige

A video of teachers saying why they are voting for David Ige just started running on KHON, KGMB, KHNL, KIKU, and KBFD and it is getting a lot of attention.  When teachers talk, people listen.  You may view the video HERE or by pasting the following link into your Web browser,

The upcoming elections are crucial to teachers and the students that we teach.  We need a governor that we can trust to lead what’s right for public education in Hawaii.

A vote for our recommended candidates, like David Ige, provides us with the power to shape our profession, support our students, and promote public education in Hawaii.

Primary Election Day is just around the corner.
Hawaii’s teachers can make the critical difference if we join together.

For more information about David Ige, please go to his Web site at

Hawaii residents who donate $100 or less will get their contributions matched one-to-one from the Hawaii Election Campaign Fund, but only if David gets at least $100,000 in these small donations by August 9, 2014.

Please ask your family, friends, and co-workers to get involved by donating $5.05, or larger donations of $25.05, $50.05, 95.05, or $99.05.  Go to:

David has widespread support in the community, but he needs funds to get his campaign message out. The 505 project is a way people can help. Thousands of small donations can get us $100,000 in matching funds to tell David’s story to voters.

We believe a bottom-up, grassroots campaign can and will get David enough votes to win the election for Governor.
