YHCR: Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade Scheduled on Oahu January 18, 2016

Dr. King’s dream for economic and social justice is still relevant today. Americans suffer divisions and inequity.We know the road to better opportunity runs right through our public schools, and we must stand strong for our students and for great public schools to help close those divides.

The Oahu parade begins at Ala Moana Beach Park and ends at Kapiolani Park

7:00 a.m. (Optional)  Meet at Kapiolani Park (on Monsarrat) to ride a bus to Ala Moana Beach Park
8:00 a.m. Start gathering at Ala Moana Beach Park
9:00 a.m. Parade begins at Ala Moana Beach Park
Following the parade, there will be one return bus trip available from Kapiolani Park to Magic Island.
