On Monday, Jan. 20, the Hawaii State Teachers Association is proud to honor and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his peaceful pursuit of interracial cooperation, equality, and social change. Oahu Download event flyer HSTA will participate in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Parade organized by the Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition. 7:30 a.m. Meet at Kapiolani Park, ride the trolley to Magic Island at Ala Moana Regional Park optional 8:00 a.m. Gather at Magic Island at Ala Moana Regional Park 9:00 a.m. Parade proceeds down Kalakaua Avenue to Kapiolani Park Our trolley can take a limited amount of people back to Magic Island following the MLK parade.
