Join us for the second installment of HSTA Pau Hana Live!, a series of free virtual events for educators and the community.

Our HSTA Pau Hana Live! takes place Friday, Oct. 9, at 5:30 p.m. on Facebook and YouTube.

This week, we welcome Pōmaikaʻi Keawe Lyman and ʻohana.

Pōmaikaʻi Lyman is a Hawaiian music artist, educator, administrator, event producer, and Mrs. Hawaiʻi 2016. She has four children between the ages of 11 and 16. In fact, her daughter, Mālie, will be joining her on our live stream!

Pōmaikaʻi has enjoyed working with youth as a teacher and administrator within her church and in private and public educational institutions, including Hawaiian-focused charter and language immersion schools. She works closely with non-profit organizations such as Mana Maoli and the Genoa Keawe Foundation, and continually seeks opportunities that allow her to pursue her passion of serving and empowering community, especially children and youth.

As the descendant of a Hawaiian music legend, Pomaikaʻi continues to pave her own career path while perpetuating a legacy of music and aloha left by her grandmother, Genoa Keawe.

Follow her on Facebook and Instagram.

Accompanying Pōmaikaʻi are the following musicians:

All live streams are archived on their respective platforms, and video will be added to this page post-event.
