HSTA to live stream school reopening listening session

Share your stories, concerns with HSTA officers in live virtual event Thursday

Hawaii State Teachers Association officers will hear members’ stories and answer their questions about school reopening during a virtual listening session on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 4 to 5 p.m. on HSTA’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

“We know our members are doing amazing work with students during the pandemic, and we want to hear from them about how things are going and what they need our help with,” said HSTA President Corey Rosenlee.

Rosenlee will host the listening session, along with HSTA Vice President Osa Tui Jr., Secretary-Treasurer Logan Okita, and Deputy Executive Director Andrea Eshelman, who’s also HSTA’s chief negotiator.

Are you an HSTA member with a concern, story, or question you'd like us to share during that live stream event, but don’t want your name made public? If so, please send us a brief summary through this link.

Please note, you will need to include your name and school or workplace with your submission so we can verify your membership, however we promise to keep your identity confidential and will not disclose it during our virtual listening session.
