NEA Research and the Center for Great Public Schools (CGPS) are collaborating with an external market research firm, MSI International, to assess educators’ needs for professional supports and the current professional supports market.
MSI recently finished interviews with both members and potential members and is now in process of finalizing a survey that will go to 3,000 members and 1,500 potential members. The sample will include all active member categories (PK-12 and higher ed, ESP and professionals) and Aspiring Educators.
To ensure representation, MSI will contact members, on behalf of the NEA, via a variety of methods:
- Postcard alerts with both online and phone survey completion options
- Emails with a link to the online survey
- Telephone calls for completion
Potential members will be identified and contacted via email.
The survey will begin fielding the week of Sept. 6 and will continue through most of September.
The results of this project will inform future CGPS professional support offerings and initiatives.
