Keeping you informed has always been a top priority and now, more than ever, we want to update you on what’s happening with our union and our profession. Given the uncertain nature of the coronavirus pandemic, the road ahead will likely be rough and winding. We need to stay united if we want to navigate it successfully.
In lieu of a traditional convention, the Hawaii State Teachers Association will hold a virtual State of Our Union on Saturday, May 16, at 10 a.m. via Zoom. All active HSTA members are welcome to attend.
Our broadcast will include live remarks by NEA President Lily Eskelsen García.
This event will last for approximately one hour and 15 minutes. Here’s our lineup (subject to change):
Members who would like to view our broadcast must register online. Once your membership has been verified, you will be emailed a unique link to join the Zoom.
Due to the sensitive nature of what will be discussed, the State of Our Union will not be broadcast publicly.
