HSTA's Social Justice Summit is meant to educate and empower you to navigate complex issues in our schools and communities. Bullying and discrimination continue to plague our halls and classrooms, but what is the root cause and how can we address this problem on a deeper level?
Immerse yourself in topics such as:
Pacific Islander awareness ✩ Mental health ✩ Poverty ✩ Restorative justice ✩ Human and sex trafficking ✩ Native Hawaiian sense of place ✩ Social justice in the classroom
Special guests: Kim Coco Iwamoto, and student groups from Farrington High, ʻIlima Intermediate and Molokaʻi Middle.
