As part of this year’s Hawaiian Islands Trauma Symposium sponsored by Queen’s and the State of Hawaii Department of Health, Kristina Anderson, a 2007 Virginia Tech mass shooting survivor, will share her personal story of injury and recovery, discuss threats to safety in schools, and propose initiatives to improve campus safety including youth education.
