As we have discussed recently I have recently started working on a film that focuses on actions being taken by ordinary citizens here in Hawai‘i to fight climate change. The hope is that the will film the inspire other to come together to tackle the most pressing issue of our time.
 
My hope it that the film will screen at international film festivals, organized community screenings, and could ultimately be used as in-class education tool in both K-12 and higher ed classrooms.
 
It is still early days and I am actively seeking both groups and individuals who's work I can showcase. One idea I have, inspired by the work of Climate Strike, is to highlight the work of local youth as they work on solutions to issues of climate change, possibly follow a student or group of students over a school year. Any ideas or help with this would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to work with students to provide addition training related to filmmaking.
