In an effort to expand the use of ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i, the Office of Hawaiian Education is offering an Introductory Level ‘Ōlelo Hawaiʻi course (in two locations) to all Hawai‘i Department of Education (HIDOE) employees (certificated, classified, casual hires, and substitutes). Public charter school employees will be placed on a wait list and may participate pending the availability of space.

Please note the following participant guidelines and procedures:
- Please complete the Intent to Participate Form at http://bit.ly/DOECSA;
- Visit the CSA campus websites (located above) for information on the ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i course on or after December 10, 2020 (Spring 2021);
- Follow the directions to register for the course on the CSA campus websites;
- Course fee is $20 (pay directly to the CSA campus you are attending);
- Participants are responsible for purchasing any course materials assigned by the instructor, attendance and course completion; and
- Participants under Bargaining Unit 05 (teachers) may receive non-credit professional development credit hours.
