Want to pay tribute to a teacher who influenced or motivated you when you were a student?

HSTA members and other folks educated in Hawaii are being asked to fill out a questionnaire detailing how a teacher in their lives inspired them to do greater things.

The project is being sponsored by the nonprofit Hawaii Education Association, which is celebrating its centennial this year. These stories will be shared on HEA’s website, as well as its social media platforms.

Dozens of people have already submitted their testimonials but HEA wants to share even more stories that pay tribute to our valuable teachers.

Submit your own story here and fill out the quick and user-friendly form.

HEA was formed in 1921 to support teachers and to promote teaching as a career. It continues to serve these goals through scholarships, grants, seminars, workshops, and other means. We congratulate them on reaching the 100-year milestone!
