The Hawaii State Department of Education has launched a survey asking various stakeholders what the department’s priorities should be in spending the latest round of federal stimulus money. The survey closes June 4.
Urge the HIDOE to support the goals of HB613 passed unanimously by the state Legislature, including the $2,200 stabilization payments for teachers. As a direct stakeholder in this, you and your colleagues will be able to let the department and the Board of Education know that they need to make these payments a priority to help retain qualified teachers.
Please fill out the survey and then ask one co-worker and one family member to take this survey to help assure our priorities are well documented.
