Public school employees whose personal vehicles parked at campuses and workplaces that were damaged or destroyed during the recent floods are eligible for reimbursement from the state, minus any insurance payouts.

HSTA members may now apply for storm relief assistance from the union if they suffered significant damage to their primary residence, primary vehicle, and/or classroom or workspace caused by the Kona low storms across Hawaiʻi last month. Each qualifying category is eligible for a minimum of $250 in relief.
