First, last days and breaks set for two additional school years

The Hawaiʻi State Board of Education (BOE) voted Thursday to approve the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education’s (HIDOE) calendars for school years 2025–2026 and 2026–2027.

The HIDOE recommended the approval to give ample time before the start of the school year to allow for planning school improvements, employee, family, and partner programming, and facilities improvement projects.
