Be sure to register to vote in time for the Nov. 8 general election

The Hawaii State Teachers Association released its recommendations for candidates in Hawaii’s 2022 general election.

HSTA recommends candidates who are strong supporters of public education, our educators, labor, and are committed to creating a better future for our keiki. Following the primary election in August, HSTA reviewed the races and revised its list of recommended candidates. New recommendations were proposed by HSTA’s Government Relations Committee and individual chapters and approved by the HSTA Board of Directors. Please note, several HSTA-recommended candidates won their races in the primary election and are not on this list since they will not be on the general election ballot.
