Learn how to interpret your EES ratings and what they mean

Are you new to teaching in Hawaiʻi? The Supporting Hawaiʻi’s New Educators (SHiNE) Committee of the Hawaiʻi State Teachers Association invites you to attend an informational webinar on EES (Educator Effectiveness System) ratings.

We’ll cover EES ratings, what they mean, and the next steps if you do not agree with your EES rating. Review the probationary process, and explore options if your current position isn’t the right fit and you want to look for something new.

This session is open to all teachers with documents and resources available for HSTA members.

Thursday, May 2, from 3 to 4 p.m.

The HSTA SHiNE Committee will host informational webinars on the first Thursday of every month from 3 to 4 p.m. on topics such as leave and pay, evaluations, special education, how to raise your salary, and more.
