Participate and enter to win through Aug. 13

The Hawaii State Teachers Association is giving away a new Apple iPad Air and HSTA swag bags to members who show their support for HSTA-recommended candidates in this year’s primary election.
From now through Aug. 13, members who attend HSTA-recommended sign-waving events and participate in additional actions to promote voter turnout can enter for a chance to win!
Members are encouraged to attend as many sign-waving events as they can, snap a selfie of themselves at the event, and upload it to the contest portal for an entry. You will receive one entry per event attended. Note: To enter the contest, log into one of the four social networks at the bottom of the page.
Members may earn additional entries by uploading a photo of themselves and their ballot envelope or in front of a ballot dropbox. You can also earn bonus entries by visiting Hawaii’s voter registration page and HSTA’s social media channels, referring fellow members to join the contest, and more!
Entries will be received until 11:59 p.m. Aug. 13, the day of Hawaii’s primary elections. Click here for the full contest rules.
